Moisson Outaouais announces the return of “Réconfort en sac” !

Moisson Outaouais announces the return of “Réconfort en sac” thanks to a generous $30,000 donation from the Ravenda family. As a reminder, this project aims to provide ready-to-prepare meals to vulnerable individuals in the Outaouais region. In addition to meeting growing demand, these meals do not require refrigeration or freezing.
“The positive reception and success of last year confirm the importance of continuing and developing this type of initiative in our processing kitchen. In a context where resources remain insufficient to meet all the needs of our 51 affiliated organizations, this innovative project allows us to offer a simple and comforting meal” says Marie-Pier Chaput, Director of Communications.
For this edition, Moisson Outaouais is offering four soup recipes—L'Épicurienne, La Jardinière, La Rustique, and La Campagnarde—to which various recipes currently in development will be added throughout the year.

Moisson Outaouais hopes to work with partners and the community to enhance the program with new recipes in order to better meet the needs of vulnerable populations and ensure the project's long-term success.
Meals will be distributed throughout the year through our network of 51 affiliated organizations. Every donation counts.
