Launched in the winter of 2025, Réconfort en sac was created to meet a simple yet essential need: providing nutritious, accessible meals to people facing food insecurity.

During the cold season, harsh temperatures intensify the challenges experienced by vulnerable individuals and families. A warm meal becomes more than just food — it offers comfort, energy, and a sense of care when it is needed most.

Through this initiative, we prepare nourishing meal kits in our transformation kitchen using dried ingredients that are easy to store, distribute, and prepare. These kits are delivered to our network of 51 affiliated organizations, strengthening the food assistance already available and helping us respond more effectively to the growing needs in our community.

An Answer to the User’s Needs

Meal kits benefit all individuals receiving food assistance. Easy to prepare and requiring minimal equipment, they offer a simple, nutritious, and comforting meal option. Since they do not require freezing or refrigeration, they have a long shelf life.
