Laurie Vaillancourt

Laurie Vaillancourt has more than eight years of management experience, particularly in operations management and team leadership in complex environments. Recognized for her ability to motivate teams, she holds a certificate in business management from HEC Montréal and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in public administration (management track) at the École nationale d’administration publique (ENAP).

A manager at the Société de transport de l’Outaouais since 2023, she also serves as co-chair of the local occupational health and safety committee at the Gatineau maintenance and operations center, where she helps promote a safe and collaborative work environment.

Laurie worked for nearly ten years as a paramedic at the Coopérative des paramédics de l’Outaouais before taking on the role of Chief of Operations for the Pontiac region. This experience has allowed her to develop in-depth knowledge of the Outaouais region and the realities of rural communities, as well as a solid understanding of social issues and the needs of the most vulnerable populations.

The common thread running through her career is her commitment to the Outaouais community. Whether in the public sector, through her entrepreneurial ventures, or in her community involvement, she seeks to make a tangible contribution to the collective well-being and development of her region.
