Moisson Outaouais

Marlène Goulet

Administrator

Food security is a matter close to Marlène Goulet’s heart, as shown in her university research projects that combine sociology and nutrition, in her position as Director of the Centre en sécurité alimentaire de Gatineau (CSAG – Food Security Centre of Gatineau) that she has held since 2021, or in her active involvement within various boards, committees and collectives (TCFDSO, food security committees of two social development collectives of Gatineau, Collective in the fight against homelessness in the Ottawa Valley, Ottawa Valley Regional Board of  Independent Community Organizations).

As a committed citizen, she has also taken on the presidency of a student association, and is presently vice-president of the Board of Directors of a solidarity cooperative that advocates for access to healthy and affordable food in an Ottawa Valley disadvantaged neighbourhood. Her qualities as a dietician, her solidarity and her profound knowledge of the Ottawa Valley community sector make Marlène a precious member of Moisson Outaouais’s Board of Directors to ensure the voice of the majority, as a member of the Strategic Planning Committee of Moisson Outaouais.
